I'd really like to say don't stay here, so they'll not be fully booked for my next visit, but that would be selfish! This is one of the best B&B's I've stayed at in over 30 years of being on the road. Friendly staff with a professional approach, the service was first class. The room was well appointed and had all the services required in just the right place- That may surprise some B&B owners who don;t understand that things like access to plug sockets and the like need to be user friendly- here everything is, even down to being able to use the hair dryer in front of a mirror (a point often got wrong in many a so called high class hotel). The bed was really comfy and the heating levels were perfect on a night that was -3 outside. Even the shower had an extra heater to keep you toastie. In the morning, I was offered a smashing breakfast, but health recovery diet forced me to ask for something slightly unusual and this was provided perfectly and without fuss. Breakfast was in the farmhouse kitchen and although I was there on business, I felt truly at home- even holiday like. I was late for my first appointment, as reluctantly I had to leave the relaxing comfortable surroundings eventually! Recommended to anyone wanting good honest service with facilities that are created for visitor comfort and service and not just to make a fast buck. Perfect. 10/10

Excellent B&B with a lovely room and good location, not far from the motorway but far enough away that you would not know its nearby. Very helpful owner who could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through but would be happy to stay longer if I needed to in the future
